Making music and history since the beginning of the new millenium, Deep Zone (Voted “Best Dance Act - Group of 2010” ) is one of Europe’s favourite pop/dance projects over the last years and for sure the top musical export of their country. Formed by three musicians, DJ’s and studio engineers, recognised in Eastern Europe for their successful pop/dance hits and classy dancefloor anthems, Deep Zone are also one of the best remix artists, working with various music stars and talents all over the world.
By an unexpected twist of faith, Dian Solo (a.k.a. DJ Dian, Deep Zone Project) started his career as a DJ in 1993 in a striptease club at a sea resort, surrounded by beautiful women and wealthy tourists. This fact has definitely influenced his personality and his music, characterizing him as always aspiring towards beauty and positive energy. A true inventor and artist behind the DJ turntable, gradually he established his own style in House music.
Born in a family of musicians, ever since he was a child he was immersed in the world of music. By the age of 8 he was already playing the piano and afterwards mastered the synthesizer, percussions, drums and electro bass. In 1998 DJ Dian is chosen for “DJ of the Year” in his home country of Bulgaria, where he currently is one of the preeminent producers and DJs.
Joanna Dark was born on May 23th 1986 in Sofia, Bulgaria in the family of professional musicians. She started playing drums at the age of six and also took piano lessons.
Her musical carreer started in 1997 as a vocal and host of the popular kids TV show “Bon–Bon”. Later, she was part of the teen show “Hello” (“Zdravey”) and host of the weekly music show “Melo TV Mania”. At the same time she was studying in the National music School “L. Pipkov”. Her carreer and education continued in the best possible way – she became a reporter of the TV show “Vischki pred ekrana” and a co-host of the 4-hours production “V nedelya s..”, both on the Bulgarian National Television. Besides, she studies drums and pop and jazz vocal in National Music Academy.
Producer, remixer, DJ and acknowledged sound engineer, Rossko is one of the biggest “hardworkers” in Bulgarian music scene. He’s been a DJ since 1991 and became one of the favourite club names in the country, playing in almost every club in Bulgaria. In 1997 he also started producing music and scoring big top 10 hits behind the name R.S.T. Some of those singles are “Without you”, “Do you want, come”, “How is it nice”. The success of his own project was followed by a huge number of remixes that he did for popular Bulgarian singers and groups. He delivers a modern European sound and a totally different vibe to the original versions of the songs he has been remixing. In 2008 his remixing skills were officially and internationally acknowledged by Danny Tenaglia. Rossko took the second place prize for his “Music Is The Answer” remix, in a competiotion with 750 producers and remixers.
Jura Tone was born in January 27th 1953 in Varna, Bulgaria. Started playing guitar in the age of 12 and also played flute in the school orchestra. Later founded a school rock band, which actually was his first public appearance as a musician.
Jura Tone continued his study in the National Conservatoire and after graduating, for 15 years plays in various music formations and bands in Bulgaria and Europe. In the period 1992 – 2000 he was a manager and impresario of different music projects and bands, also managing festivals, such as “Jazz & Rock Fest”. Meanwhile he opened his own club (Stage Club), conducted a lot of bands and also played guitar in various projects.
His own studio was the place, where Deep Zone Projects’s first hits were recorded. Jura Tone helped the project with his professional advices and also some production and arrangement. With the time he became a member of Deep Zone, playing guitars, keyboards and adding some backing vocals.
After years of successful work with Deep Zone, now Jura Tone is realising his new single … with popular bulgarian R’n’B singer Lady B.
